Whatever brings you here, the goal is the same. To help you find your way through.
I offer individual and couples counselling for adults in Vancouver, both in person at my Kitsilano office and online from anywhere in BC. My work draws on trauma-informed and attachment-based approaches, held within a culturally sensitive, anti-oppressive lens.
The services below are the ones I work with most often. If your situation doesn't fit neatly into one category, that's normal. Most people's lives don't. Reach out and we'll figure it out together.

There is something powerful about putting words to what you've been carrying, in a space where someone is genuinely listening.
Talking therapy is the foundation of much of my work. It's a structured, confidential space to process difficult emotions, gently challenge old thought patterns, and build new tools for coping. For some clients, it's the entire work. For others, it sits alongside body-based approaches like TRE or EMDR.

Some memories don't fade with time. They sit in the body. They get triggered by small things and pull you back into a moment you thought was behind you.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based trauma treatment that helps the brain finish processing those memories. Rather than asking you to relive everything in detail, EMDR uses bi-lateral stimulation to help old experiences settle into their proper place in the past.
I completed EMDR Basic Training, Levels 1 through 3, with the Parnell Institute.

Trauma doesn't only live in our thoughts. It lives in the body, in held tension, in a nervous system that never quite stood down from high alert.
TRE is a body-based approach that uses a specific set of exercises to release chronic muscular tension and help the nervous system find its own way back to regulation. It can be a powerful complement to talk therapy, especially for clients whose stress feels physical as much as emotional.
I'm a Certified TRE Provider (TRE LLC, 2017).

Most couples come to therapy stuck in a cycle. The same fight, on slightly different topics. The same withdrawal. The same misread. The same loneliness, even when you're in the same room.
The good news is that cycles can be named, understood, and changed. The conflict isn't usually the real problem. It's the door to the deeper questions underneath. Who feels unseen? Who feels too much? What did each of you learn about love, repair, and safety long before you met?
I draw on two of the most well-researched approaches in couples work: The Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I also offer pre-marital counselling for engaged couples who want to build a strong foundation from the start.

If you've been in a motor vehicle accident, the impact often goes far beyond the physical. Anxiety driving. Flashbacks. Difficulty sleeping. A persistent sense that something isn't right, even months later.
I'm an approved ICBC counsellor, which means you may be eligible for up to 12 pre-approved counselling sessions within 12 weeks of your accident, with no upfront cost to you. I bill ICBC directly.

For those who identify with faith or spirituality, it rarely is something that stays outside the therapy room. It shapes how you understand yourself, your relationships, suffering, and healing.
I offer counselling that welcomes your faith into the work, not as a script to follow, and not as something to set aside. Whether faith is a deep source of strength, a place of complicated questions, or both at once, there is room for all of it here.
This is not directive religious counselling. It's therapy that takes your whole self seriously, spiritual life included.

For many of us, culture isn't a single thread. It's a weave. You may be holding the values your parents brought with them, the values of the country you grew up in, the spaces you've moved through since, and the self you're still becoming.
I work often with clients of Asian, multicultural, and third culture backgrounds. My own experience as a third culture kid informs this work. But it doesn't replace yours. Your story is the centre.
Book a free 15-minute consultation through the booking link, or send me a message. This first conversation is no-pressure.
Our first full session is about getting to know your story, what you'd like to be different, and how we'll work together.
Most clients meet weekly or biweekly. We'll regularly check in on how the work is feeling, and adjust as we go.
Therapy isn't meant to last forever. When you're ready to wind down or pause, we plan that intentionally too.
In person at my Kitsilano office, or secure online sessions across BC.
Current rates are listed on the booking page.
I offer direct billing to many major insurance providers (including Pacific Blue Cross, Sunlife, Manulife, Desjardins, and Greenshield), and I'm an approved ICBC counsellor for motor vehicle accident clients.
That's okay. Many people aren't sure what they need when they first reach out. Book a free 15-minute consultation and we'll figure it out together.
